Mircosoft Vista: Everything we've seen before.

So the good old Consumer Electronics Association(CES) has started and Microsoft has officially given a release date for their new OS: Vista

To be honest I'm not very impressed and will have no reason to upgrade anytime soon. If anything this new OS is just an attempt to make Windows more like Macintosh with a new "style" and what they are calling "sidebars and Gadgets" like weather and clocks which has been on Macs for ages.

And watching TV on your computer? You've able to do that for years. Thats NOT an innovation.

The only thing that really interested me was the connectivity with the Xbox 360. However I don't have one of those. So I need not be concerned with it.

Basically don't bother trying to update right now. It's pretty much pointless, personally I would wait till the price goes down.

And even then I still may not bother.
