You know what's cool? We one of the few creatures in the world who are able to express true altruism. That is we help others without receiving anything in return, except for a good feeling which I think is perfectly fine.

We have the capacity to do so many good things in this world but squander them due to social beliefs, ignorance, and every other thing that makes this world not as good as it could be. So go out there and love others no matter what.
